By being elected to the European Parliament in 2009; Nikki made history by being the first trans parliamentarian, and then she set about creating even more history!
Nikki is forthright, straight-talking and is known for her independently minded politics. In 2011, Nikki made her mark in history when her Campaign for a Referendum petition collected ,in excess of the required , 100,000 signatures calling for an In or Out vote on EU membership. For the first time ever, a British Prime Minister was brought to the despatch box by public petition.
David Cameron wanted to stop banging on about Europe - well, because of Nikki, he was pressured into delivering the referendum that led to Brexit.
Since wanting to be a politician at the age of 10, Nikki has had a long career in politics which has seen her work on campaigns in the United States and across Europe.
As a motivational speaker, Nikki delivers talks to groups of people from all walks of life with her message: Never Give Up!

Between 2009 and 2014, Nikki represented the West Midlands region and its 5.2 million people in the European Parliament.
Nikki has always been passionate about Human Rights and was a very active Member of the European Parliament’s Committee on Human Rights .
Nikki has spoken in Parliaments across the world. Also to leading Universities (like the Oxford Union, (pictured here)), national conventions and to local clubs/organisations.
Nikki has proven herself to be a formidable campaigner on a variety of issues, international, national and local. Nikki was one of the first politicians to warn of the escalating cost of HS2.
